What We Do
Pine Health Foundation exists to provide comprehensive healthcare services and promote sustainable health development in Uganda and beyond. Besides our malnutrition project, we establish patient-centered healthcare systems that prioritize environmental sustainability and community engagement, provide equitable access to high-quality healthcare services, respecting the natural right to healthcare and prioritizing local needs and preferences, establish healthcare centers, hospitals, clinics, and dispensaries, including outreach centers and educational services, recruit medical volunteers and interns, including doctors, nurses, and medical students, to support our healthcare services, establish health institutions, universities, and training centers to provide health education and training, foster regional, national, and international partnerships to advance our healthcare mission and vision, develop sustainable business models to secure long-term funding and donations, conduct research and development to advance our healthcare services and minimize global warming's impact on health, implement sustainable practices, strategies, and policies to support our healthcare model, advocate for health rights, policies, and practices that promote a healthy and sustainable future, establish community pharmaceutical services and provide health-related services, and partner with health volunteers to establish hospitals, health centers, clinics, and health training schools.

Badr brings over 15 years of healthcare leadership to our organization. His tenure at Temple University Hospital was marked by strategic initiatives that enhanced patient care and fostered collaboration. Now, Badr leads us in realizing our mission: to establish patient-centered healthcare in Uganda and beyond. With a focus on education, sustainability, and community engagement, we’re poised to make a meaningful impact under Badr’s visionary guidance.
CEO & Chairman
Mr. Okello brings his unique blend of hospitality and healthcare expertise to Pine Health Foundation, drawing on his experience from African Health Concern and elsewhere. He leverages his background to drive our patient-centered mission, ensure high-quality services, and provide strategic direction as CEO and Chairman of the Board. His leadership is a valuable asset to our organization, and we're confident in our ability to make a meaningful impact in healthcare under his guidance.
Executive Director
Sandra Oyuko, our seasoned healthcare leader, is dedicated to revolutionizing healthcare delivery. Under her guidance, Pine Health Foundation is poised to disrupt the status quo, driving innovation, equity, and accessibility in healthcare. With 12 years of experience and a passion for excellence, Sandra, as Executive Director, spearheads our mission to create a healthier future for all, transforming healthcare delivery through her visionary leadership.
Managing director
Mr. Odeng Michael, our Managing Director, brings 12 years of experience in management and marketing from the MLM industry to lead Pine Health Foundation, driving patient-centered care, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability, while fostering community engagement, stakeholder relationships, and collaborative partnerships to promote healthcare access and sustainability in Uganda and beyond.
